As part of our paper, "Cooking, health, and daily exposure to pollution spikes," my co-author Joshua Dean and I, in collaboration with the Berkeley Air Monitoring Group and the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, deployed Purple Air devices with 653 charcoal cookstove-using households residing primarily in Nairobi, Kenya between October 2022 and March 2023.
